Hi Rich Fans,
I had lunch with Rich and Mitch today, who were in town for a quick visit after the Kansas City concert Saturday night. They have become aware of our difficulty in getting accurate tour information, and will try to help us get more timely info on tour dates as they are confirmed.
I also shared with them the frustration that some are experiencing in getting a copy of the Canticle Of The Plains CD. I believe we will also see an improvement in that situation.
The rest of the news concerns Mitch. There have been some who have assumed because Mitch was touring with Rich that he was also involved with Crucible Productions. Mitch is not connected with Crucible Productions, and for those who would like more information about Mitch, his music, his upcoming solo CD, and subsequent tour dates; there is now a resource. The first edition of the Mitch McVicker newsletter (printed on paper, that is) just shipped today. Some who have attended recent concerts may have already signed the "snailmail list." If you are not already on that list, here is the address:
Mitch McVicker
PO Box 5222
Window Rock, AZ 86515-5222
Hopefully soon you'll be able to get the newletter online, but currently Mitch's newsletter is in print only. Also, it is separate from this list (that is, being on this email list doesn't automatically add you to that list). Send your name & snailmail address, and request to receive the newsletter. At present there is no cost.
Other things we discussed are the possibility of a Kid Brothers of St Frank Web Page. This main page would link people to this Rich Mullins Mailing List Archive (which will remain "unofficial" even though we hopefully will receive more accurate/timely info), a future This Train Web Page, the possibility of a Mitch McVicker Web Page, the Brian William's Rich Mullins Fan Page, the Canticle Of The Plains project, and more.
Stayed tuned for more info.
