I'm going to sample this song on disk. If you *really* want it, I can
E-mail it to you. Probably take over an hour to send though, not including
any cancellations from errors. Also, not sure of the legal ramifications,
even though it's been released as a "free" demo.
BTW, anyone else out there feel just a little sad that Rich lost *again* at
the Dove awards. I like Twila Paris, and I even like the song "God Is In
Control", but I *really* like "Creed" (I even sang it at church for special
music). Oh well. Rich was on our local news Thursday evening at 6pm as a
quick interview with a "local Friends University student and national CCM
recording artist". He just spoke for a few seconds, and commented on
feeling privileged to be able "get tired of something he really loves." He
went on to say that a lot of people come home tired at the end of the day,
and they haven't done anything they like. It really sounds like he's ready
to take a break from the music industry for a while. I still refuse to
believe that he'll be out of it very long. After all, he has a tour coming
up for Brothers Keeper. Notice how I keep saying that. I guess I'm thinking
if I keep saying it enough it'll be true.
Still waiting for word on releasing the interview, and confirmation on
dates for the tour. Anyone else hear anything about the tour?
>DB> Just a quick note to all:

Brothers Keeper, by Rich Mullins
(I don't know at this point if anyone collaborated)
Now, the plumber's got a drip in the spicket.
The mechanic's got a clink in his car.
And the preacher's thinking thoughts of the wicked.
And the lover's got a lonely heart.
And my friends ain't the way I wish they were
We are just the way they are
Chorus:
And I will be my brothers keeper
Not the one who judges him
I won't despise him for his weakness
I won't regard him for his strength
I won't take away his freedom
I will help him learn to stand
And I will, I will be my brothers keeper
Now the sweepers got a few missing shingles
But a least we got ourselves a roof
And they say that she's a fallen angel
Oh, I wonder if she recalls when she last flew
There's no point in pointing fingers
Unless you're pointing to the truth
Chorus twice
