Subject: [RichMailList 61]: Rich in studio

Hi Everybody,

I pray that everyone had a blessed Easter season, we did!

Rich is now in the studio in Nashville working on new songs for the Greatist Hits album he promised us. As a matter of fact, there is now a strong possibility for a two volume Greatest Hits, similar to The World As Best As I Remember It, Vols. 1 & 2. If there is a multi-volume set, it will be released one volume at a time. There is to be at least a couple new songs; how many per album, I'm not sure. I do know that Rich is recording our requested "We Are Not As Strong". That's the break-up song that we were all so taken by during the Brother's Keeper Tour, and finally got the lyrics (see [RichMailList 51] and [RichMailList 54]).

Since I've archived the Mailing List on the Web, we've been getting a surge in new subscribers to the list, and I want to take this opportunity to say Welcome!

In addition, there have been some questions asked that I thought I'd share with the list.

Dominic Celozzi on Mon, 8 Apr 1996 asked: > Thanks in advance for taking the time to reply to this inquiry. Hi Dominic,
Just confirmed that Rich has not converted to Catholicism. He is very interested, and has even taken some instruction, but for now, no conversion.

Linda Sack on Wed, 10 Apr 96 asked: > I used to work in "the bidness" down here in Nashville, and an > acquaintance of mine who used tours with one of the Sparrow artists > told me that Rich Mullins owns a bed'n'breakfast somewhere outside of > Nashville. Do you have any clue about that?

Rich still owns the house where he used to live in Ashland City outside Nashville, and the woman he rents it to is running a Bed and Breakfast out of it.

This one is actually from the Amy Grant Newsgroup as a continuation to the thread about Rich's writing for others. (Anybody ever find any others? See [RichMailList 60])

Karen Leigh Paulsell writes:

Charles Owen answers:

Let's all pray that Rich wins Songwriter of the Year at the Dove Awards this year. How many times has he been nominated? Don't forget to watch on the Family Channel, April 25th at 8pm CDT.

God Bless
