Mitch/Release/KidBrothers

The following note is from Rich's cousin Ray Mullins...
Hi Danl,

I hope you are doing well. Thank you for keeping everyone up to date on what
has been going on in the legacy of Rich's work. Here is some info for you.

Mitch update:

I got the opportunity recently to spend the afternoon with Mitch and his
family when they traveled through my area. Mitch looks great, and his
attitude is very positive. He was recently given the OK to start driving
again. He is still struggling with blurred vision, but it has slowly
improved significantly. His greatest concern at the moment is his voice. He
would still appreciate everyone's prayers as he works to rehabilitate his
singing voice. God willing he would like to continue to pursue a recording
career.

Release book:

I received the Rich Mullins: Home book this week. I think that it is very
well done and is fitting tribute to Rich and his ministry.

Foundation:

Details are still being finalized to officially start the Rich Mullins
foundation, but they will likely be resolved in the near future. Rich's
youngest brother David has decided that he will assume the responsibility of
running the foundation. It is likely that there will be a benefit held this
fall in Nashville to officially kick off the foundation. Please keep David
and the others who are starting the foundation in your prayers as they seek
to follow God's will by continuing the work that Rich loved.

Your's in Christ,

Ray Mullins

GMA and Dove Awards

Hi Rich Fans,

It is confirmed, I will be attending the Gospel Music Association Week including the Dove Awards (Dove Awards Web Page requires Shockwave Flash). Write me and let me know if you're going. I can give you contact information, so that (if possible) we can get together. Also please let me know if you have any information on any events as they pertain to Rich, Ragamuffins, This Train, etc.

This quite possibly may be my last post to the list until I get back from GMA (I'll be in Nashville April 18-24). I had hoped to finish and pass along my interview with Mitch McVicker before then, but that may not be possible in the time left (including the day job).

Thanks to all of you who have sent many notes and comments on the Release HOME book. I will continue to collect those through the end of the month, and then post.

-- Danl
